The short answer
Yes—Rift provides separate shooting paths rather than making every shot the same. Check the selected mode and remap so you know which button starts a timed shot and which keeps a manual release.
Rift — our #1 2K27 Cronus Zen script.
Choose Rift for multiple shooting options in one script, not a single button path you cannot change.
Compare Rift with other 2K27 scripts →Understand the three paths
Auto Green has BUTTON and RHYTHM modes with their own timing values. Button Rhythm uses the physical Square/X button with a manual hold and release. With Button Rhythm enabled, the selected stick-click can act as a separate normal Square/X shortcut. These are different uses, not three names for one setting.
Check the buttons before judging the feature
The Auto-Green bind is normally R3/RS. When Button Rhythm maps R3/RS to the normal shot shortcut, Auto Green moves to L3/LS. Use the menu hint to confirm the active bind. If a demo looks different from your controls, compare the remap and mode before assuming the feature changed.
Why flexibility can be worth buying
You may want timed standstill shots and a manual option for other situations. Rift’s separation lets you learn each path and select the controls you prefer. That flexibility is a stronger buying reason than assuming “Auto Green” means you must give up every other way of shooting.
