The short answer
Treat Rift as a new setup, not a place to paste every old Pulse value. Check the Rift menu, choose your shooting mode, and save a fresh baseline. You can compare the controls you need without assuming that Pulse has stopped working.
Keep your old reference
Write down the Pulse version and settings you already like before making changes. An older script may still do something useful for you; that does not establish that every value carries across to a different file or shooting mode. Keep the original download separately labeled.
Start with Rift’s actual menu
Rift V1.1 separates Button and Rhythm Auto-Green timing and offers five named Button Rhythm speeds. Build 1, Build 2, and Build 3 keep separate settings. Learn which field you are editing before copying a number from an older screenshot. A speed preset is not the same field as Auto Green MS.
Compare the same shot
Use the same jumper, shot type, and game mode for your first comparison. Save a working Rift setup, then use another build for adjustments. The reason we recommend Rift is the current package of controls and support—not a blanket claim that every old Pulse file is broken.

Follow the official installation instructions and keep a separately labeled backup of your old download.
Can I use my old timing number?
You can record it as a reference, but verify the field, mode, and shot before assuming it transfers.
